Barun Hydropower reports decline in net profit by huge
margin in Q2; EPS at Rs. 6.56 Barun Hydropower Company Limited (BARUN) has reported huge decline in net profit by 61.62% in the second quarter (Q2) of the current FY 2077/78. The profit decreased to Rs. 87.93 Lakhs in this quarter from Rs. 2.29 crores in the corresponding quarter of previous year. BARUN has sold electricity worth Rs. 3.58 crores by the end of Q2. Its reserve fund stands at Rs. 1.15 crores with share capital at Rs 26.79 crores. Its annualized earning per share stands at Rs. 6.56. The net worth per share at Rs 104.33 and P/E ratio stood at 30.31 times. |
